Daily Mind
Privacy policy
Your tasks start on your device. You choose whether to connect Apple services.
Data on your device
Daily Mind stores your added tasks, including titles, notes, schedules and completion status, along with projects, contexts, energy budget and preferences on your device. It uses this information to display and organise your day. Automatic scheduling runs on your device.
The app does not include advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not send your task content to a developer-operated server or an AI service.
Optional Sign in with Apple
You can use Daily Mind without signing in. If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide an account identifier, name and email address, including a private relay address if you choose Hide My Email. Daily Mind saves the profile in this device’s Keychain to show your account and checks credential status with Apple.
Sign-in does not create a separate developer-hosted account or synchronise tasks. Signing out keeps the saved profile and your tasks. Remove Local Apple Profile in the app removes the active profile’s saved identifier, name and email from Daily Mind on this device. You can separately revoke Apple sign-in through your Apple Account settings.
Optional iCloud Sync
When you enable iCloud Sync, the app stores your added tasks, notes, schedules, completion status, contexts, projects and energy budget in your private CloudKit database under your iCloud account. Apple operates this service. The app also maintains a local sync journal and uses a generated device identifier, record identifiers and modification dates to merge changes.
Calendar event contents and your Apple sign-in profile are not included in Daily Mind’s task sync document. Apple sign-in and iCloud Sync are independent settings.
Turning sync off stops future syncing but keeps local and existing iCloud data. Deleting an item while sync is enabled propagates that deletion when sync completes; sync metadata may remain to prevent deleted items returning. The app does not currently provide a one-tap deletion of its entire iCloud database.
Optional calendar access
With your permission, Daily Mind reads events from calendars you select on your device to display them on your timeline and account for occupied time. iOS requests full calendar access, but Daily Mind’s calendar integration does not create, edit or delete your calendar events.
The app keeps selected calendar identifiers and hidden-event identifiers locally and caches fetched events in memory. It does not upload calendar event contents through its task sync. Your calendar provider’s own syncing remains governed by that provider. Disable Calendar Sync in the app or revoke access in iPhone Settings.
Optional notifications
Task reminders use local iOS notifications containing the task title and reminder time. No remote push server is used. Task titles may appear on your lock screen according to your notification settings. You can disable reminders in Daily Mind or manage permissions and previews in iPhone Settings.
Subscriptions
Apple processes Daily Mind Pro purchases and payments. Daily Mind uses StoreKit to read verified subscription status and expiration or revocation information on the device to unlock automatic scheduling and restore purchases. Daily Mind does not receive your payment card details or send purchase records to a developer-operated server.
Retention and your choices
Local data stays available until you delete it or remove the app’s data. You can delete tasks and manage projects and contexts in the app. Removing the app may not remove Keychain profiles, iCloud data or device backups. Remove your saved Apple profile in the app before uninstalling if you want that profile removed.
Use Apple’s settings to manage iCloud storage, backups, permissions and your Apple Account. Turning off an integration does not erase the original data held by a calendar provider or iCloud. We cannot access your private task database to erase it for you.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive your email address and the content you send and use it to respond and investigate. Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve your request; you can email to request its deletion. If you open a support issue, we receive the GitHub profile information and content you choose to submit and use it to respond and investigate. GitHub issues are public: do not include private tasks, account credentials or payment details. Issue content remains on GitHub until edited or removed under GitHub’s controls and policies.
This website uses no analytics scripts, advertising cookies or external fonts. GitHub hosts the site and handles service information under its privacy statement. Apple services operate under Apple’s privacy policy.
